During the last week of 2023, the number of ETFs in the Global ETFs industry increased by 3 with 19 new ETFs listings and 16 ETF closures, source ETFGI.
14 provide exposure to equities, 4 fixed income, and 1 mixed.
All 19 new listings were for index tracking ETFs.
One new ETF issuers joined the ETF industry: ONEFUND
The most active issuers of ETFs last week were: Migdal with 4 new ETFs, and China Asset Management, Kiwoom Asset Management and NH-Amundi Asset Management each with 2 new ETFs.
13 of the new ETFs were listed in Asia Pacific: 8 on the Korea Exchange, 2 on the Shanghai exchange, 2 on the Shenzhen exchange and one on the Taiwan exchange, 4 were listed in Israel on the Tel Aviv stock exchange, 1 was listed in the US on Nasdaq, and 1 was listed in Russia on the Moscow exchange.
