Horizons ETFs announced closure of two ETFs
- Horizons ETFs Management (Canada) announced that it will be terminating the Horizons Global Currency Opportunities ETF (HGC) and the Horizons Active Intl Developed Markets Equity ETF (HADM) effective at the close of business on Thursday, February 14, 2019.
- Effective immediately, no further direct subscriptions for units of the respective ETFs will be accepted. Friday, February 8, 2019, is expected to be the last date on which a redemption request may be placed with the Manager, and the ETFs are expected to be de-listed from the Toronto Stock Exchange, at the request of the Manager, at the close of business on or about Monday, February 11, 2019, with all units still held by investors being subject to a mandatory redemption as of the Termination Date.
