28 July 2021. FRANKFURT (Deutsche Börse). Two new exchange-traded funds issued by BNP Paribas Easy have been tradable on Xetra and Börse Frankfurt since Tuesday.

The BNP Paribas Easy MSCI China Select SRI S-Series 10% Capped UCITS ETF gives investors access to large and mid-cap Chinese companies with the best ESG profile within their sector according to the best-in-class approach. In addition to environmental, social, and corporate governance criteria, companies are measured on their contribution to climate change. The weighting of a stock is limited to a maximum of ten per cent.

Companies that do not comply with the principles of the United Nations Global Compact or are involved in ESG-related controversies are excluded from the index. The same applies to companies with significant business activities in the areas of thermal coal, nuclear energy, weapons, gambling, tobacco, genetically modified organisms, and fossil fuels.

Two share classes are available to investors, which differ in terms of the trading currency, the euro, and the US dollar. The running costs are 0.45 per cent in each case and the income is reinvested.
