New equity index ETFs issued by Global X on Xetra: access to the solar industry, agricultural and food innovations, and high-dividend companies
Since Thursday, three new exchange-traded funds issued by Global X are tradable on Xetra and Börse Frankfurt.
With the Global X Solar UCITS ETF, investors invest in a portfolio of around 50 companies from the solar industry. These include manufacturers and service providers of solar power systems, solar-powered charging systems, suppliers of raw materials and components for solar producers and companies that sell electricity generated from solar energy. In addition, service providers that take care of the financing, installation and maintenance of solar power systems are also considered.
An investment in the Global X Agtech & Food Innovation UCITS ETF enables investors to benefit from the trend in agricultural and food innovation. This includes companies whose main business areas are precision agriculture, efficient farming, robotics and automation in agriculture and agricultural biotechnology. Food innovation companies are involved in the production of alternative protein and dairy products, as well as services that prevent food waste.
The Global X Superdividend UCITS ETF offers investors access to the 100 highest dividend yielding companies worldwide, including developing countries. To be eligible, the market capitalisation must be at least US$500 million, and the average trading volume must be at least US$1 million. All companies are equally weighted.
