New Active ETFs from J.P. Morgan on Xetra: active investment strategy in Japanese or US companies with ESG approach

Since Tuesday, three new exchange-traded funds issued by J.P. Morgan Asset Management are tradable on Xetra and via Börse Frankfurt.

The JPM Japan Research Enhanced Index Equity (ESG) UCITS ETF USD and the JPM US Research Enhanced Index Equity (ESG) UCITS ETF - EUR Hedged (acc) employ an active investment strategy with the aim of outperforming the respective benchmark index, MSCI Japan or S&P 500, over the long term. The portfolio is composed of either Japanese or US companies. The portfolio managers may overweight companies that have the greatest potential to outperform the benchmark index and underweight or exclude companies that they consider to be the most overvalued.

Investors can choose to invest in the JPM Japan Research Enhanced Index Equity (ESG) UCITS ETF USD in either a distributing or accumulating share class. The JPM US Research Enhanced Index Equity (ESG) UCITS ETF - EUR Hedged (acc) minimises the currency risk between the US dollar and the euro.

More than half of the assets are invested in companies with positive environmental and/or social characteristics and good corporate governance. Companies with significant business activities in the areas of thermal coal, weapons or tobacco are excluded from the index.
