New Equity Index ETF from Franklin Templeton on Xetra: access to climate-friendly companies from China
A new exchange traded fund issued by Franklin Templeton is tradable on Xetra and via Börse Frankfurt since Wednesday.
The Franklin MSCI China Paris Aligned Climate UCITS ETF gives investors access to large- and mid-cap Chinese companies that are in line with the transition to a low-carbon economy.
Companies are selected in line with the Paris Climate Agreement. Companies that benefit from opportunities arising from the transition to a less carbon-intensive economy are overweighted. This includes, for example, the development of low-emission products and services. On the other hand, companies exposed to the transition risks of climate change are underweighted.
