New equity ETF from First Trust on Xetra: focus on high-dividend US companies

A new exchange-traded fund issued by First Trust has been tradable on Xetra and via Börse Frankfurt since Wednesday.

The First Trust Value Line Dividend Index UCITS ETF offers investors access to high-dividend US companies from various sectors. The ETF tracks the Value Line Dividend Index and invests in around 200 stocks. In the first step, the selection is made according to the Safety Ranking System and then selects those companies that have an above-average dividend yield compared to the S&P 500 Index. In the end, all selected stocks are equally weighted. 

The product offering in Deutsche Börse's XTF segment currently comprises a total of 1,897 ETFs. With this selection and an average monthly trading volume of around €19 billion, Xetra is the leading trading venue for ETFs in Europe.
