New equity ETF from J.P. Morgan on Xetra: access to climate-conscious, sustainable companies from the China region

A new exchange-traded fund from J.P. Morgan Asset Management has been tradable on Xetra and via the Frankfurt Stock Exchange since Tuesday.

The JPM Carbon Transition China Equity (CTB) UCITS ETF invests in Chinese companies with high and medium market capitalisation listed in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Shenzhen and outside the People's Republic of China. The selection process will only consider companies that benefit from the transition to a low-carbon economy. The index aims to meet the requirements for EU Climate Transitions Benchmarks and is intended to achieve the long-term objectives of the Paris Agreement.

Companies that are active in ESG-controversial business areas or are associated with violations of the United Nations Global Compact are excluded.
