New equity ETFs from Xtrackers on Xetra: broadly diversified investment in sustainable US companies
Two new exchange traded funds from Xtrackers have been tradable on Xetra and via the Frankfurt Stock Exchange since Monday.
The Xtrackers S&P 500 ESG UCITS ETF tracks the performance of the S&P 500 ESG Index. This gives investors broadly diversified access to US companies from all major industries in the US that meet certain environmental, social and corporate governance criteria (ESG criteria). The selection of individual stocks is based on the best-in-class approach and only takes companies with the best ESG score from each industry group into account. The companies are weighted according to their market capitalisation.
The Xtrackers S&P 500 Equal Weight ESG UCITS ETF follows the same investment focus with the difference that all companies receive an equal weighting.
