New Active ETFs from J.P. Morgan on Xetra: access to green bonds worldwide with and without currency hedging

Since Thursday, two new exchange-traded funds issued by J.P. Morgan Asset Management have been tradable on Xetra and via the trading venue Börse Frankfurt.

The actively managed JPM Green Social Sustainable Bond UCITS ETF invests in an investment grade green bond portfolio worldwide. The portfolio consists of bonds that are classified as green, social and sustainable.

Green bonds aim to finance sustainable projects, for example in relation to renewable energy or the prevention and control of pollution. It excludes issuers that are active in controversial business areas such as the production of weapons, thermal coal and tobacco.

Investors also have access to a currency-hedged share class in which the impact of exchange rate fluctuations is minimised.
