New active ETFs from iShares on Xetra: diversified investment strategy focusing on different regions using quantitative models

Five new active exchange-traded funds from iShares have been tradable on Xetra and Börse Frankfurt since Wednesday.

The new range of iShares Equity Enhanced Active UCITS ETFs offers investors a differentiated, actively managed investment strategy with the aim of achieving long-term capital growth. The five new active ETFs focus on different regions and offer investors access to a broadly diversified portfolio of developed countries worldwide, Asia ex Japan, Europe, emerging markets, and the US.

Each fund aims to invest at least 70 per cent of its investment capital in equity companies. Up to 30 per cent of the assets may be invested in equity instruments, fixed income securities with an investment grade rating and money market instruments. Portfolio management is based on the fund's ESG policy.

When selecting equity companies, each fund uses rule-based quantitative models to achieve the expected contribution to portfolio return, considering risk forecasts and transaction costs.

Income is reinvested for all five share classes.
