New ETF from Franklin Templeton on Xetra: access to the Japanese equity market

A new exchange-traded fund issued by Franklin Templeton has been tradable on Xetra and Börse Frankfurt since today.

The Franklin FTSE Japan UCITS ETF tracks the performance of the FTSE Japan Index, which is made up of over 500 large and mid-cap companies and is weighted by market capitalisation. Investors gain access to the Japanese equity market including all major sectors such as industrials, consumer goods and financials. Toyota Motor, Mitsubishi UFJ Financial and Sony Corporation are among the largest companies.
