Morgan Stanley Wealth Management has promoted its top ETF and closed-end fund gatekeeper to co-lead traditional manager research and named a replacement for his old role.

Morgan Stanley Wealth Management has promoted ETF gatekeeper Michael Jabara to co-lead all traditional manager research at the wirehouse.

Jabara, who is head of ETF and closed-end fund research, is to become co-head of traditional manager analysis and due diligence, within Morgan Stanley's global investment manager analysis (GIMA) team.

He will be co-head alongside Tom Leeds, who already held that position.

As a result of Jabara’s promotion, Morgan Stanley has appointed Michael Suchanick to take on Jabara's current role as head of ETF and closed-end fund research.
