New bond index ETF issued by Tabula on Xetra: High Yield corporate bonds in line with the Paris Climate Agreement

A new exchange-traded fund issued by Tabula Investment Management has been tradable on Xetra and Börse Frankfurt since Wednesday.

The Tabula EUR HY Bond Paris-Aligned Climate UCITS ETF offers investors access to the performance of euro-denominated high-yield and fixed-income corporate bonds with a remaining maturity of at least one year. ESG criteria are applied in the selection of issuers to achieve the Paris Climate Agreement about limiting the global temperature increase to 1.5 degrees Celsius.

Companies active in controversial business sectors such as thermal coal, adult entertainment, alcohol, gambling, tobacco, weapons, nuclear energy, genetically modified organisms, and recreational cannabis are excluded. The same applies to companies that violate the UN Global Compact.

In the weighting, care is taken to ensure that companies with a better ESG ranking are given greater consideration. A single company can be represented with a maximum of 3 per cent and a country with a maximum of 8 per cent.
