LONDON July 27, 2026 — ETFGI reports Global Active ETFs Gather Record US$500.88 Billion in YTD Net Inflows as Assets Climb to US$2.56 Trillion at the end of June. During June the actively managed ETFs industry globally gathered net inflows of $89.13 billion, bringing year-to-date net inflows to $500.88 billion, according to ETFGI's June 2026 Active ETF and ETP industry landscape insights report, an annual paid-for research subscription service. Highlights

  • Assets invested in actively managed ETFs globally reached a record $2.56 trillion at the end of June 2026, surpassing the previous record of $2.49 trillion set at the end of May. 

 

  • Industry assets have increased 34.2% year-to-date, rising from US$1.93 trillion at the end of 2025 to $2.56 trillion. 

 

  • Actively managed ETFs gathered net inflows of $89.13 billion in June. 

 

  • Year-to-date net inflows reached a record $500.88 billion, more than double the previous record of $266.48 billion set in 2025 and well above the $152.87 billion recorded in 2024. 

 

  • Year-to-date, 1019 new ETFs have been launched by 253 providers

 

  • June marked the 75th consecutive month of net inflows into actively managed ETFs globally.

 

“Global equity markets experienced mixed performance in June. The S&P 500 declined 0.95% during the month but remained up 10.21% year-to-date in 2026. Developed markets excluding the US fell 0.91% in June, bringing their year-to-date gain to 14.28%. Among developed markets, Luxembourg and Israel posted the largest declines during the month, falling 14.45% and 11.93%, respectively. Emerging markets declined 1.50% in June but remained up 9.77% year-to-date. Indonesia and the Czech Republic recorded the largest declines among emerging markets during the month, falling 8.64% and 6.03%, respectively,” according to Deborah Fuhr, Managing Partner, Founder, and Owner of ETFGI.

 

Growth in assets in the actively managed ETFs industry as of end of June

 

There were 5,524 actively managed ETFs globally, with 7,582 listings, assets of $2.56 Tn, from 724 providers on 49 exchanges in 39 countries at the end of June.

ETF issuers

Dimensional is the largest ETF provider in terms of assets with $302.98 Bn, reflecting 11.8% market share; JP Morgan Asset Management is second with $299.87 Bn and 11.7% market share, followed by iShares with $174.88 Bn and 6.8% market share. The top three actively managed ETF providers, out of 724, account for 30.3% of Global actively managed ETF AUM, while the remaining 721 providers each have less than 6% market share.

Net Inflows

 Equity-focused actively managed ETFs listed globally gathered net inflows of $56.70 billion during June, bringing year-to-date net inflows to $298.88 billion, more than double the $148.61 billion gathered during the same period in 2025.

Fixed income-focused actively managed ETFs listed globally recorded net inflows of $16.64 billion during June, bringing year-to-date net inflows to $153.44 billion, significantly higher than the $102.81 billion gathered through June 2025.

Substantial inflows can be attributed to the top 20 ETFs/ETPs by net new assets, which collectively gathered $33.08 Bn in June, the Roundhill Memory ETF (DRAM US) gathered $9.35 Bn alone.
